Works with: Children (age 2 and up), teens, and adults
I’m particularly drawn towards working with children who have experienced trauma in their lives as well as adults who have experienced childhood trauma. I have a deep desire to help people who are stuck in their lives because of something that happened to them; may it be abuse, neglect, or any other kind of trauma. I enjoy seeing people become a better version of themselves after going through trauma healing.
I’m also drawn toward people with extreme and complex traumas from situations such as childhood trauma in the face of parental absence or organized abuse.
Trauma therapy can seem daunting because you might not be sure what pace the processing will go through. I am taking your lead on that; I’m not going faster than you and I’m also here to help and challenge you if you need me to.
In working with children, I use toys and other expressive elements so that children can express how they feel by simply ‘playing it out’. Especially young children often don’t have the capacity quite yet to talk about their feelings and experience, but they already know how to play. Very often kids will use play to convey what they experience and also find help in being able to change the situation by playing.

I offer counselling to children, adolescents, teens, adults and families. I see therapy as a collaborative experience where we can have meaningful, honest conversations. My work focuses on emotional processing, interpersonal dynamics and internal identity. I believe people of all ages are naturally oriented toward growth. By making space and helping remove barriers, I support clients in reaching their potential. I believe change happens in relationships, and that past relational experiences help shape the present. In my work with children and families, I aim to strengthen confidence and connection so family members can turn to one another for care and support. I also work alongside parents to support healthy relational interactions at home and help them trust themselves in raising their children.
