User data will be stored for health information of clients: by law, 7 years.

How We Protect Your Personal Data

 

In order to protect your security, we use the strongest available browser encryption and store all of our data on HIPAA-compliant servers located in the United States. Although these servers are based in the U.S., they adhere to Canadian privacy regulations, including PIPEDA and PIPA, for international data transfers and storage of sensitive information. All data is only accessible to our employees, who are bound by strict confidentiality agreements. A breach of this agreement would result in the employee’s termination.

 

While we take all reasonable precautions to ensure that user data is secure and that users are protected, there always remains the risk of harm. The Internet as a whole can be insecure at times, and therefore we are unable to guarantee the security of user data beyond what is reasonably practical.


 

International Data Transfers

 

We transfer and store user personal data on servers located in the United States. These servers are HIPAA-compliant to ensure the highest level of data protection. When we transfer user personal data internationally, we will protect that data as described in this Privacy Policy and comply with PIPEDA and PIPA to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for cross-border data handling.
