I’m a Registered Clinical Counsellor and Canadian Certified Counsellor with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals and families. I work with children, youth, adults and families navigating anxiety, trauma, self-esteem concerns, relationship challenges and life transitions.
I understand that difficult experiences are not always easy to put into words. They can show up as worry, self-doubt, emotional overwhelm, changes in behaviour, relationship difficulties or feeling stuck. I look beyond the surface to understand the emotions, experiences and needs underneath.
I bring compassion, curiosity and cultural sensitivity to my work. I recognise that each person’s experiences, relationships, family context and way of understanding the world are unique. I aim to create a space where you can feel understood, supported and more connected to yourself and others.
With children, I pay attention to what is communicated through behaviour, play, withdrawal, worry or big emotions. I incorporate Child-Centred Play Therapy and principles of Synergetic Play Therapy to offer developmentally appropriate ways to express and process experiences.
I also collaborate with parents, caregivers, foster families and agencies to strengthen understanding, safety, connection and confidence in supporting the child. My integrative work draws on trauma-informed, client-centred approaches.
