Hi, I'm Leo!

I'm a Bernese Mountain Dog–German Shepherd mix with a big personality, four very capable paws, and an impressive ability to notice things that everyone else seems determined to ignore.

I take my responsibilities very seriously. These include investigating interesting smells, keeping track of everything happening around me, and making absolutely sure that no suspicious squirrel goes unnoticed. I also believe walks should be exciting adventures, preferably conducted at a pace that my humans occasionally find unreasonable.

As someone who experiences the world with considerable enthusiasm, I understand that big feelings can sometimes lead to big reactions. I'm still working on the whole "pause and think before responding" concept. Apparently, this is something humans work on, too.

My philosophy is simple: Be curious, enjoy the little things, and never underestimate the importance of connection.

Although I don't provide therapy myself, I'm a pretty good reminder that we all have our quirks, our strengths, and things we're still learning.

And sometimes, a little fresh air and a good sniff can make the world feel much better.

First, a clarification: I'm not actually a therapist. The humans at Treehouse take care of that part.

My preferred meeting format involves being outdoors, ideally somewhere with plenty of interesting smells and opportunities for exploration. However, inside close to or even on a couch is also acceptable.

I believe in an active approach to engagement. Sitting quietly is also an option, but I generally prefer movement, curiosity, and investigating whatever has just caught my attention.

My communication style is direct. If something interests me, you'll know. If something really interests me, you'll definitely know. I'm still learning that not everyone shares my sense of urgency, particularly when it comes to moving objects.

I also believe in the importance of boundaries, although I must admit that I occasionally need some reminders about my own.

Above all, I approach the world with genuine enthusiasm. I may not always get everything right, but I bring my whole self to every experience.

That's something I think the humans at Treehouse appreciate, too.
