Therapist Intern (through May 2026)

Janet is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University, building on a Bachelor of Arts earned from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

She has experience supporting individuals facing anxiety, depression, neurodiversity, and LGBTQIA+ concerns. Janet understands that many people seek support from someone who not only listens but truly sees them—someone who can help illuminate a path toward a more fulfilling life.

Her therapeutic approach is rooted in person-centered and strengths-based philosophies, emphasizing empathy, respect, and genuine collaboration. Janet thoughtfully integrates key elements from a range of theoretical models to meet each client exactly where they are, creating a space that fosters personal insight, resilience, and meaningful change.
